I think I can honestly say this was one of the most memorable and fun Fourth of July's we have had. We spent it with my family. They live in a very small town so we went to their communities celebration. It was so much fun! We started off the morning with breakfast at the park. The food was delicious and it was fun for the boys to eat breakfast outside.
They had face painting, bounce houses, cotton candy, and a parade for the little kids.
Then they did a candy drop from an airplane. Will had so much fun with his cousin Aria running to get the candy.
Then they set a whole bunch of chickens and ducks free and if the kids caught one they could keep it. Will tried his very best. He and another little boy both had a hold of one, but since we don't really want a chicken we had him let go so the other boy could have it ha ha
Then they had a watermelon eating contest for the kids. It was so much fun. We finished off the day with a BBQ and fireworks at my parents house. The kids had so much fun. I love making memories like this with them!
