This is my all time favorite picture of Ben and his Birth Mother. I love the tender sweetness of the picture and how similar they look. I am so incredibly grateful for open adoption and the wonderful relationships it allows us to have. We went to the aquarium with Ben's birth family for his biological cousins birthday. It was such a fun afternoon, and we were so honored to be invited.
The boys loved looking at all of the animals and spending time with family. I'm also so grateful for the way that each of my children's birth families love and incorporate our other child into their lives. Adoption really is about love.
